The Fireplace Place staff is certified through the National Fireplace Institute®. NFI is a non-profit certification agency that conducts nationwide testing of hearth systems planners and fireplace technicians. Only those who pass a rigorous certification examination covering topics like fireplace safety and placement, venting requirements and installation guidelines receive NFI Certification. Working with someone with an NFI Certification can help ensure that your fireplace, wood stoves, hearth appliance and venting system are planned and installed with proper attention to safety and performance.
We are committed to training and continued education of our fireplace and stove installers, as well as, our sales force. The Fireplace Place staff also receives training from manufacturers’ representatives on installation certification guidelines and venting requirements for their hearth products.
